Position Title: Lactation Education Certificate Program Director

The Lactation Education (LE) Program Director is responsible for the direction and oversight of the Lactation Education certificate program. The Lactation Education Program Director ensures efficient and effective program operations to enhance student learning and to facilitate successful certificate completion.
The LE Program Director is a term-variable FTE administrative appointment at starting at .5 FTE. The position reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and is supervised by the Director of Undergraduate Programs. The LE Program Director requires an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) certificate, and teaching and precepting experience in lactation. It is preferred that the candidate has a BSN (or RN) or Masters degree, extensive experience working in diverse settings (community and clinical) and holds a membership in ILCA, USLCA and OWLA.
- BA/BS with 3+ years of related experience
- IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) certificate, and teaching and precepting experience in lactation.
