App uses the RDA calculation for energy needs of the baby under 6 months of age. User enters baby’s current weight and birthdate and the app chooses the correct formula (120 Kcal/weight for full term newborn, etc). The result indicates how much 20 calorie/ounce milk the baby needs to maintain that weight and how much more to gain weight. Originally designed to build confidence in the mom whose baby is gaining but she deep down feels as if baby isn’t getting much milk from her breasts. Very popular with moms! Moms are amazed at how well they ARE doing! Perfect for the mom who wants to know how much milk to pump for the sitter if going back to work. Also has a function for milk given via the SNS to calculate how much milk baby likely gets from the mom’s breast for those babies with suckling problems.

This app is the electronic version of the Quick Reference Cards many, many LCs have used throughout the years with great success in helping moms. The quick reference cards are still available for those who love them.
