This month, we’re excited to share information from the Michigan Association of Lactation Consultants (MALC). Established in 1987, MALC currently has an impressive 64 members.
Through this fall’s quarterly chapter reports, MALC informed USLCA about their chapter scholarship program. Their program will offer a certain number of $250 scholarships to MALC members who are certifying or re-certifying. We love seeing chapters use their resources to support lactation professionals in their community!
MALC also recently held their annual fall conference on November 15th, which featured Dr. Alison Hazelbaker as speaker. Their conference brought in over 125 attendees and 7 vendors! Congratulations MALC on a successful event!
