The 2020 Outstanding Chapter Award goes to Florida Lactation Consultant Association
As a long-time chapter of USLCA, the Florida Lactation Consultant Association was selected for its dedication to the promotion of breastfeeding, as well as the support it provides its chapter members. In the past year, FLCA has awarded multiple scholarships to help members cover the cost of recertification, and it has provided multiple grants to members for outreach efforts and World Breastfeeding Week activities. FLCA has also created a text messaging system to communicate with chapter members more efficiently. USLCA is proud to have such a dedicated and supportive chapter!
