The 2022 Outstanding Chapter Award goes to Northern Illinois Lactation Consultant Association (NILCA)
NILCA has been extremely active in their region and demonstrated dedication to the USLCA mission. In 2021, NILCA helped to support the advancement of underrepresented IBCLCs with a donation to USLCA’s IBCLC scholarship which allowed two people to sit for the IBCLC exam at no cost. They continue to support the lactation profession in their area and beyond. Their ongoing networking and professional development activities bring an amazing constellation of energy to all. NILCA’s active participation on the quarterly USLCA’s zoom chapter calls is always extremely valuable.
