Elizabeth Smith earned her Master of Public Health with an emphasis in maternal child nutrition in 2000. When a position as a prenatal educator opened at the University Hospital she was excited to move in that direction. She has taught classes for the hospital for 19 years. Certified through ICEA and a board certified lactation consultant, she strives to help expectant parents make informed decisions. In addition to her regular job, she is on the board of directors for ICEA and the Mountain West Mothers’ Milk Bank. She has been married for almost 30 years and has three children 27, 23 and 15.
