We love highlighting the activities of our amazing USLCA chapters! This month, we’re excited to share information from the Black Hills Breastfeeding Coalition. Located in South Dakota, the Black Hills Breastfeeding Coalition is comprised of local IBCLCs, hospital and clinic staff specializing in women and children’s health, and community breastfeeding supporters. The chapter aims to provide access to education in order to increase evidence based breastfeeding knowledge in our community, and also to create networking opportunities with others invested in breastfeeding promotion. Chapter members currently are all RN, IBCLCs providing both inpatient and outpatient lactation services.
