USLCA’s Current Board President Farewell

Dear USLCA Members,

It’s hard to even know where to begin to sum up the last six years that I have served on the USLCA Board of Directors, let alone know how to acknowledge how grateful I am for having the opportunity to lead our incredible board for the last 3 years.  Since I joined the Board with Dominique Gallo in 2017 we have seen restructuring and incredible growth, three national conferences, new staff members, countless webinars, pivoting during a global pandemic, increasing and fervent commitment to DEI principles, and now an opportunity for new leadership and continued growth under both a new President and a new Executive Director.  What a journey this has been!

In case you missed it, our Annual General Meeting was held on April 17th and a link to the recording will be available soon.  Our Award winners can be found in the newsletter below – congratulations again to all who were nominated and those selected.  During our AGM we formally transitioned and welcomed our new Board president, Stacy Davis.

I am confident that USLCA will continue to flourish with Stacy’s vision and leadership at the helm of our strong Board.  Stacy has served on the Board since 2020 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the maternal child health arena to USLCA.  I look forward to seeing the future of USLCA continue to grow under her leadership and participating as a member!

Thank you all for being such champions in our field, and thank you for your continued commitment to support the advancement of the lactation profession and lactation care providers for the health of families across the country.

With gratitude,

Michelle Lynn
