Thank you to the generosity of Lactation Education Resources, USLCA will be offering one (1) education scholarship for the spring IBCLC Scholarship cycle! This scholarship will award each winner with a complimentary registration to LER’s Lactation Consultant Training Program Enriched (LCTP) program, worth 95 lactation training hours.
Application cycle: March 20th – June 2nd, 2023.
Qualified applicants* shall identify as a member of a marginalized community and be actively pursing their IBCLC credential.
*The USLCA IBCLC scholarship program is intended to award support to aspiring IBCLCs that are a part of traditionally underrepresented populations of IBCLCs within the United States. Based on the current demographic data available, (USLCA 2019) we will be accepting applications from those that identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), Asian or Pacific Islander, or LatinX. We will also accept applications from those that identify as being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. These criteria will continue to be evaluated with each scholarship cycle.
