The recipient of this year’s Chapter award is the Central Valley Lactation Association In Bakersfield California. This Chapter has been extremely active in their region and demonstrated dedication to the USLCA missionA small and mighty group of 6 to 7 members, Chapter, located west of the Rocky Mountains. They actively sponsor and run Baby Cafe Bakersfield, which is growing steadily, increasing number of contacts in their area. The Baby Cafe utilizes student interns who are working on their lactation hours, mentoring Lactation professionals. Their social media presence brings Weekly Live Zoom Question / Answer Lactation Support. Central Valley Lactation Association, actively participates in USLCA Chapter Calls and submission of Quarterly Chapter Reports. The share ways to improve our Chapter Calls, bringing Zoom platform to our Calls, which has been extremely successful in networking of USLCA Chapters!
