Conference Committee members work closely with USLCA staff to help in the decision process on conference speakers and content, sponsors and exhibitors, marketing, and much more! Conference committee members collaborate via e-mail and phone with no face-to-face meetings necessary. We greatly value members like you and your commitment to our organization!

Exhibitors and Sponsorship
- Identifies possible exhibitors and sponsors for the conference
- Develops a strategy for acquiring sponsors
- Recruit companies to participate
Speaker and Presentations
- Identify topics
- Recruit speakers
- Work with committee lead to select speakers and presentations
- Coordinate application process with ANCC Nurse Planners
- Organize presentations and handouts
- Create schedule
Media/Public Relations
- Create ways to promote the conference
- Works with media sponsors
- Manage various methods of communication: print, web, email and social media
- Create content for social media and news blasts
- Share content on social media
Procurement
- Identify items to target for donation
- Locate and gather items for both the silent and live auctions (Works with Volunteer coordinator)
- Creates an item request letter to be sent out to possible donors
- Creates an item donation form for tracking purposes
- Packages items together as needed for both the silent and live auctions
- Sends thank you letters to item donors
Guest Experience
- Organize registration
- Coordinate admission to conference, check-in and check-out
- Help answer attendee questions
